It was so great to have Dan around! We were both exhausted, so it was a lazy day. Drove around Novato, found a new good grocery store, Harvest, and stocked up. came home, then drove to Corte Madera. i wanted to return to the Italian grocery store . A.J. Ferrari Foods for lunch and more breadsticks, which i'm unfortunately getting addicted to. cAme back and tried to nap, though we'd had too much coffee.
Met Kathleen for dinner at Kitchen, a one star restaurant in Novato. Dan and i split the "Valentine's Prix Fixe" 5 course meal; it was wonderful: carrot curry and ginger soup with truffle oil, bibb lettuce salad with blue cheese and blue cheese vinegrette, shrimp in white sauce, pancetti wrapped butterfish, and melted chocolate cake. Excellent!
